To raise offset temp by 6 degrees, you’ll need to set the value 13 (set the offset setting to 14 for +7, 7 for -7, and 15 for +8).

If you want to lower your fridge temp by 6 deg. –perhaps the display reads 1 deg. but the actual temperature is 7 deg.- you will enter code ‘1’ and choose 7 temperature offset degrees..

Quick tip: When making the selections, you have to press the appropriate buttons within ten seconds (or thereabouts) or it will time out and revert!
The buttons combination is not the same
One thing you need to keep in mind is that you don’t always enter service mode by pressing the same “Fridge” + “Freezer” button combination…
In short, you may need to use press “Freezer” + “Lighting” buttons for about 12-15 seconds to enter the correction mode in some models.
Bear in mind that you will hear a beep -and the display shows “0 0”- you then select whether you want to modify your fridge temp (change code to 1) or freezer standard temp(code should be 0).
Meanwhile, you push and hold onto the “Freezer Temp” + “Power Cool” buttons again for twelve-fifteen seconds in certain models.
Here the Fridge Temp shows the mode and Freezer Temp shows the offset.
For models with no Power Cool button..
If the aforementioned Power Cool button is missing on your model, you can achieve the same action by pressing the “Fridge” button in its place.
Temperature keeps on resetting after I adjust it
To begin with, refrigerators normally have preset temperature ranges. For the fridge compartment, they range between 34⁰ F and 44⁰ F (1⁰C to 7⁰C).
On the other hand, the freezer has temps ranging between -8⁰F and 5⁰F (-23⁰C to -15⁰C).
